One well-formed, doubly-terminated, salmon-orange, textbook-shaped Serandite crystal is the centerpiece for this colorful thumbnail specimen from Mont Saint-Hilaire. This sharp, blocky Serandite is translucent in places along two of the major faces and displays great luster on those faces; the other crystal faces display a satin-like luster. The piece is accented with a cluster of six isolated Natrolite crystals to 1 cm at the top (or bottom depending on how you want to display it!) along with two small, jet-black Aegirine crystals for contrast. An exceptional thumbnail Serandite with great associations and composition that displays 360 degrees and is complete all around. From the collection of Kay Robertson. This would have been found in the so-called "Glory Tunnel" of the late 1980s, which I had the privilege to drive up and see after it had been collected out. Check the video included - the bottom (or top) of the crystal is partially hollow!
