Moroccan vanadinites dominate on a world -wide basis, but American vanadinites, like this one formerly in the collection of Ed Ruggiero, can be just as lovely. Quite frankly, this one is a stunner, with discrete, lustrous, translucent, orange crystals to .5 cm across.on a black manganese rich matrix. 4 x 3 x 2.5 cm
