Difficult to photograph because it is so clear - this is a PERFECT hexagonal, tabular aquamarine crystal, 3.3 cm across, almost fully exposed protruding from the matrix. It is unusually fat, at about a centimeter thick - and the sharp bevels are breathtaking in their form and symmetry. A quartz crystal has grown around the base of the aqua, extending from the top of the specimen to the bottom. The matrix is muscovite with some small gemmy aqua crystals of the same habit embedded in it. BECAUS EIT IS SO WATER-CLEAR, IT DOES NOT PHOTOGRAPH WELL. THIS IS A FIRST-CLASS SPECIMEN In PERSON. 7.5 x 6 x 5.5 cm
