What an attractive pegmatite combination piece from the Skardu area of Pakistan! A robust, glassy, champagne colored Topaz crystal is dramatically accented by several sharp prismatic Quartz crystals, most of which are doubly terminated. The Topaz crystal is transparent and super lustrous, with only minor internal fracturing. There have been numerous single Topaz crystals originating from the Pakistani pegmatites, but few that have the charm of this Quartz-Topaz association, especially with doubly terminated Quartz crystals. A choice small cabinet specimen!
