An old-time cabinet specimen of Galena and Calcite from the well-known St. Andreasberg District in Germany. The Galena cubes are excellent. They have good shine and metallic luster, modified corners, beveled edges, and reach up to 2.8 cm on edge. The numerous Calcites are 1-2 mm in size. Well-crystallized Galena from here is rare, so that makes this exceptional as a locality and a German specimen. This special specimen from the famed St. Andreasberg District of Germany is above 'classic'. Old labels included. Ex Obodda collection's notable German suite.
