Aesthetically perched atop a cluster of smaller crystals is a splendent, dark red, octahedron of cuprite, measuring 2 cm on edge or 2.5 cm in length across. Remarkably, this pristine crystal is perched so it shows 5 of the 6 octohedral terminations. Simply beautiful aesthetic, sharp form, and a brilliant luster make this one of the finest pieces in the update!
