A classic, old-time specimen of a translucent, matte finish, butterscotch-colored, tabular stolzite crystal from a famous French locality - the Ste. Lucie Mine in Lozere. Three of the four edges are pristine, though they may be contacted. These crystals, I think, are unrivalled for quality and form for the species save for just a few specific specimens known from older workings in Australia - and those of quite another crystal habit entirely, at that. Very highly representative of this famous locale. Ex. Behier Collection.
