Not your typical Hemimorphite! Spikey, mounded botryoids of beautiful blue GEMMY Hemimorphite comprise this exceptional cabinet piece from the Makeng Zn deposit in Lechang Co., Guangdong, China. A small lot of these were recovered in 2017 and we obtained many of the best ones on the ground in China. However, nobody knew the exact real locality until recently, and they were previously sold as Chenzhou (Hunan) origin - which I was always skeptical about. We are now sure they are indeed from Guangdong. This is one of the very best in size range, and glows with color, ranking these among best of species.
