Lustrous, translucent, light gray calcite rhombs to 2.0 cm richly and attractively cover the chlorite schist matrix plate on this fine specimen from the NEAT tunnel workings in Canton Uri, Switzerland. The sparkly pyrite microcrystals are a very nice accent. Ex. Brent Lockhart Collection.
