This intensely-colored vivid green crystal has the classic bicolor coloration for the mine, with a gem green top on a red-pink scepter stalk. In this case, it is an unusually longated gem green termination (usually there are 1-2 cm), on a truncated red stalk. It is complete all around and very lustrous. The termination is complete, though slightly frosted (from natural solution efects in pocket). It should be noted that most tourmalines from this mine actually have highly etched terminations, that deform them, and this is "razor sharp" for the particular locality - which is quite notable. It is probably from the 1970s or 1980s, but there is no way to be sure at this point. 40 grams. Comes with a custom lucite base. Joe Budd photos.
