I know that Indian Zeolite specimens are everywhere, but you must appreciate them for what they are. They are simply some of the finest crystallized examples of their respective species extant. This piece is actually from a find from nearly 20 years ago, and came from the collection of Brian Kosnar. It features good sized, sharp, lustrous, blocky, light blue-green color crystals of Apophyllite measuring up to 2.1 cm with several porcelain white Stilbite sheaves up to 2.8 cm surrounding it. The crystals sit on a basalt matrix that is covered with white Heulandite. This piece is one of the best display specimens that I have seen from Lonavala in a long time.
