Glassy, lustrous, anglesite blades fill the vug in sculptural matrix on this fine old-time specimen from a classic locality - the Monteponi Mine in Sardinia. The largest crystal is 3.0 cm. Some of the anglesite blades have unique, color-zoned inclusions of goethite. Fascinating. Highly representative and unusual material from this historic mine. Ex. Rolf Wein and Bob Byers Collections.
