Beautifully splendent, jet-black and twinned sphalerite variety marmatite crystals enhanced by transparent, colorless, nail head calcite crystals make for a very aesthetic and showy specimen from Trepca, Serbia. The stunning large crystal is 3.0 cm and the piece was mined in 1980. Marmatite is an iron-rich variety of sphalerite.
