Vivid pink to purple, translucent, botryoidal cobaltoan calcite encrusts poorly sorted conglomerate matrix on this striking and pretty old-time specimen from a long-closed Spanish locale - the Solita Mine in Catalonia. Rare and seldom available. Ex. Dennis Mullane Collection and comes with an old faded label.
