Emplaced on matrix is a plate of glassy and gemmy, light lavender colored fluorite cubes, to 1.5 cm across. Associated sprays of doubly terminated, white calcite, to 2.5 cm in length add color contrast and sharpness around the periphery. The large fluorite crystal in the center of the specimen has at least three inclusions of pyrite. This is classic and rare fluorite, for luster and color and the calcite association, for this locality. Often it is confused with more common Naica material but they look subtly different.
