A striking and very aesthetic apophyllite specimen from Jalgaon, India. A gemmy and glassy, 3.5 cm, very blocky, multi-hued apophyllite is set in a well-prepared, bowl-shaped vug. The layered, skyscraper-like, apophyllite crystal is green at the base, grading up to light green and has a very gemmy, colorless termination. The termination is partially hoppered. Well-placed and nearly hidden behind the apophyllite crystal are several, large, pearlescent stilbite blades to 1.9 cm. Ex. Jamie Bird Collection, a California collector from the 1960s-1980s.
