From new finds, this is just such a pristine and beautiful jewel-like crystal that it leapt out to me, when I saw a whole table littered with aqua "singles," recently. This is a single, glassy and gemmy, light blue aqua crystal, 6.2 cm in length, and doubly-terminated! It is a "gem pencil!." The crystal and for that matter the whole specimen is a floater, attached to a single doubly-terminated crystal of albite and with no other contacts. Although common enough today, in general, a superb aquamarine specimen like this is distinguished from the pack.
