A rare, old and striking, large, twinned calcite crystal on calcite matrix from an old, Triassic traprock quarry in Edgewater, New Jersey. The classic, lustrous, translucent, twinned, pastel-yellow crystal is 6.2 cm across and is pristine. The prominent, lustrous twinning face has dramatic chevron striations. Ex. Gerald Kloc and Ed David Collections.
