Quality sulfur crystals are very hard to find, and to see a beauty like this, on matrix no less, is a rare thing. This crystal boasts a great form, very good luster, a clarity not often seen in sulfur, and a dark yellow color that complements the rest. Factor in the matrix, and this is a stunner. What I cannot believe is the shockingly good quality this has been preserved in (there are just a few miniscule rubs, not even a ding!), despite the softness of the species and the vulnerability of such an exposed crystal. In PERSON, the color is BETTER than that shown in the rightmost photo. 2.7 x 2.3 x 2.1 cm
