From the collection of the eminent Fred Pough, a very uncommon specimen of plumbian (lead content) microcline from Broken Hill. The microcline is transparent-to-translucent, a pretty grass green, and is probably lightly buffed on its rather rough frontal face to show off the color which is what really makes this unusual. It is not a complete crystal, though. Still, a rarity of some desirability! Value? hard to say - a previous dealer had a coupla hundred on it. I have never seen another, and it is pretty if somewhat rough. 8.5 x 6.5 x 2.5 cm
