This gigantic, gemmy fluorite crystal (a bit greener in hue, in person) is actually a compound crystal; you can see the fascinating join line running down the middle. It is complete all across the display face, with even the back of the specimen crudely crystallized and just contacted a bit at the bottom. The forms are so modified that it is hard to describe the crystal properly from a crystallographic standpoint. You just have to respect a transparent crystal of ANYTHING this big, especially a transparent and pretty fluorite! WEIGHS OVER 3 POUNDS!! 12 x 11 x 7 cm
