A bright and rich, saturated gold-colored nugger from the famous gold fields of Australia, 110 grams (3.56 troy ounces). This is a beautiful piece by any standard. However, it is all the more interesting because it looks exactly like South America, and comes with a natural hole formed in the middle of the top, weightier portion. We have looked with a loupe, and asked a few more experienced gold-people to look as well, and we are very sure that hole is natural and not man-made. It acts as a perfect centerpoint for putting the piece on a chain or a necklace and wearing it. (NOTE: Not a Univ. of Arizona piece, though it was included in that update as it complemented and fit with other golds) .
