As fine an Illinois calcite miniature as you can ask for, this is a complete-all-around amber colored crystal of classic style. You can also note twin faces on one side. This is #0009 in the famous Illinois collection of Ross Lillie, which was (until dispersed) the most important and large Illinois fluorite collection of all time. His label notes that it was mined in 1985. It is literally a jewel. With less light, it shows less color saturation but a bit more translucency.
