What a splendid trio of isometric sulfides from the renowned mines in Musen, Germany. Gray-white, satin metallic, octahedral to cubo-octahedral crystals of linnaeite from 1-4mm blanket the display side of the piece; however, much of the specimen is comprised of linnaeite! Linnaeite is a rae cobalt sulfide and this is an extremely rich piece for the species. Gray, dull metallic, cubo-octahedral crystals of galena augment the display side along with minor chalcopyrite. Ex. R. M. Wilke and William C. Oke collections with labels.
