Scintillating, gemmy to opaque, cherry-red, cubic cuprite crystals comprise this striking, two-sided, crust of solid cuprite crystals from the Chino Mine of New Mexico. There are just a couple of small points of attached crust. This was nearly a floater. Outstanding material from this noted locale, and according to the Minette Collection label, was collected calculated 1954. Old-time, superb quality cuprite with textbook crystals and fine color.
