Sparkling, translucent crystals of rich, emerald green dioptase, to 1.8 cm in length, are perched nicely on light gray calcite. This is a gorgeous, glittering, unusual specimen for a thumbnail specimen of dioptase, as it presents a graceful cluster on matrix, that can just fit into a TN box. It has top color! From the thumbnail collection of Stretch Young.
