A 3.8 cm, euhedral, pleasing green emerald crystal is aesthetically set in massive quartz matrix in this fine specimen from recent finds in China. While these crystals certainly are not as gemmy as good Colombian ones, they are lustrous and translucent. The emerald is doubly terminated and is pristine. Very highly representative of the species from this locality.
