Lovely and bright clusters of medium teal-blue Cavansite with a very attractive bladed habit (about an inch, or just over 2 cm!). This is very RARE to obtain, and the blades here are particularly large. Most often, cavansite forms spherical aggregates, rather than showing off the stereotypical crystal form as we have here. One of the advantages of seeing the blades so distinctly is the owner is afforded a sharp view of the superb, almost metallic, luster along the blades. A very interesting and fine specimen that is MUCH more electrically colored, in person! This is a rare treasure, even uncommon amongst so many other cavansites
