The finds of orpiment in Humboldt County maybe 6 years back are considered the greatest examples for the species in the world, and for good reason. Just look at the luster of these crystals - they look like candy! The crystals here have a deep butterscotch color, and there is almost none of the usual bruising you see on these (they are very soft and usually show some bruising here and there) .
