A large, gemmy and lustrous topaz crystal with pretty, intense-blue color saturation from the less well-known, Mimoso do Sol Mine of Espirito Santo, Brazil. The glassy giant has textbook crystal form and a fine, beveled, chisel termination. The crystal is complete-all-around and is essentially pristine. The 2.0 cm wide by 1.3 cm deep contacted hole, with no damage, per se, is on the back and is totally out of sight. Weighs 201 grams.
