A sensational and extremely hard-to-obtain Wulfenite from the type locality at Bad Bleiberg in Austria. This large, triangular-shaped specimen is COVERED with dozens of vibrant, orange-yellow, 3 to 8 mm crystals! The tabular Wulfenite crystals are lustrous, translucent, squarish in outline with beveled edges and their orange color contrasts nicely with the pale pinkish orange matrix. Distribution of the Wulfenite crystals is ideal with most of them evenly distributed across the piece as isolated crystals or lightly clustered to preserve their textbook crystal shapes. These are very difficult to obtain and this is a fantastic specimen! From an old European collection via a trusted Austrian specialist dealer there, whose label comes with it. Note that this has extraordinary luster and color aesthetics for an example from this scarce old locality.
