Proustite on Galena

A 3-dimensional silver-species "disco ball," 1.3 cm across, of proustite surmounts a galena matrix. This is an unusually aesthetic, interesting combination from this classic old locality. Although this has a habit more consistent with proustite, I am told that Proustite and pyrargyrite from this locale cannot always be visually distinguished with 100% accuracy, so there is a small chance this could be, instead, pyrargyrite. However, as it does not quite have the brightest metallic luster and is red when strongly lit, but not gemmy, I am inclined to say based on what else I have seen this must surely be proustite with little doubt.
