A smaller aquamarine, this one a perfectly balanced miniature. It has a superb, very glassy and wet-looking luster, combined with good transparency. This piece has unusual inclusions of minute schorls within the aquamarine termination, just floating there like flies in amber. It seems as if something shocked this pocket as the aquamarines grew, setting loose pocket debris which was then included into the aquamarines as they finished growing. From the noted Erongo specialty collection of Heini Soltau.
