This is a specimen of bright green crystals of dioptase on a bed of white calcite, which wraps around the sides of the dioptase to provide a pretty contrast. There is a later generation of tiny, sparkly calcites on top of the dioptase as well. The dioptase crystals measure to one cm across. 5.6 x 4.3 x 3.0cm
