Fine, gemmy, lustrous, striated, vivid purple apatite crystals are richly and aesthetically strewn across the crest of a wedge of pearlescent cleavelandite blades on this beautiful specimen from the Golconda Mine of Brazil. The large apatite is 1.4 cm and it is doubly terminated. They are glowing purple, a unique and very intense color. The apatites are very nicely accented by hundreds of sparkly, pastel-yellow bertrandite microcrystals. This is an excellent older combination specimen from this mine.
