Splendid and colorful in display appearance, this choice Dioptase on Calcite small cab from Tsumeb has great aesthetics. Not only are the Dioptase crystals gemmy, lustrous, and a beautiful emerald green, and the Calcite rhombs even more gemmy, but they all rest on a heart-shaped matrix. A little duftite decorates the calcites, for multiple green color contrast, here... a nice touch! And if a specimen of this caliber on the front wasn't enough, you turn the piece over and the Dioptase crystals grow in a dense, attractive, matrix-covering layer. A really beautiful specimen with a little unusual finish, no matter how you look at it, literally (since it is both sides)! ex Sussman
