A superb example with about the best quality you can expect in the size range, this is an attractive gem topaz specimen accentuated by a cluster of translucent blades of Cleavelandite at the base. The single, glassy and TOTALLY GEM CLEAN Topaz crystal measures 4.7 cm in length and 3.1 cm in width, with razor sharp edges and well developed prism and pyramid terminations. This Topaz crystal is completely limpid throughout! For added interest, this specimen has a small, lighter colored Topaz crystal growing out of the bottom of the larger one in perfect harmony! This doubly-terminated crystal is definitely elegant and presented well on a natural pedestal: it is certainly a standout compared to a crowd of single crystals from this productive location. It is just "different," whereas most are so similar. An old piece from the private collection of a dealer friend of ours who traveled to the source there on multiple occasions and kept this, it is not contemporary.
