This arborescent, sculptural copper is form the native elements collection of Dr. Gene Meieran. It is a beautiful piece for the bright, brassy patina on the copper (not removed by over-cleaning), and also for the elegant form. It is significant for the sharp and elongated copper crystals, characteristic of this mine in its heyday of the late 1800s and early 1900s.
