Berg Aukas is one of the most famous localities in the world for species like Smithsonite and Descloizite, but there are also some interesting Willemites from this deposit as well. I have seen several habits and colors of Willemite from this great locality, and this piece is no exception. It features a dozens of sharp, light bronze-golden color, acicular crystal "sprays" of Willemite on matrix. The quality is excellent, and good Willemites from Berg Aukas are among the most desirable for the locality. Ex. Richard Kosnar Collection.
