A variegated goethite stained fracture surface is accented with <1 to 2mm, yellow-green, stubby hexagonal mimetite crystals. Vajdak label indicates this is a "19th Century specimen from Freiberg Museum and the antique Freiberg Bergakademie label also accompanies the piece. The real old labels are lost and only his notes survive (and he is deceased), sadly, but this is a true rarity nonetheless.
