This is a stunningly sharp example of copper crystallized at its most fine and perfect, with razor sharp edges and perfect color. No damage, and complete all around, the combination with aesthetics and locality makes this a competitive level thumbnail specimen above most other coppers. It was a piece trimmed off of a famous old specimen from the 1960s that had documentation, when it passed through Irv Brown's hands as a cabinet piece, and he was keeping a secret thumbnail collection in the early 2000s. I bought that collection and sold it to Kyle Kevorkian, where it has lived ever since. It remains one of my favorite copper thumbnails, with a memorable patina and shape. ex Irv Brown and Kyle Kevorkian
