Exceptional, razor-sharp Cadmian Smithsonite rhombohedra are perched on a Galena matrix. These golden-yellow Smithsonites have very good luster and sharp edges, which range up to 7 mm in length. The crystals are actually gemmy, and retain their individual beauty even within the cluster. The aesthetics of this piece are superb simply for the color, but it is also a great example of this rare cadmium-colored varietal.
