A crystal that resembles pale blue glass with its incredibly gem/gemmy interior and lustrous, sharp, bright faces. The piece has beautiful form with an elegant amount of pale tan Lepidolite at the base. The display side of the piece is incredibly sharp and smooth, while the reverse side has graceful hydrothermal etching. The Xanda mine is one of the most prolific localities for blue Topaz in the world, and has produced some of the most impressive and memorable specimens with that distinctive preferential etching and larger sized crystals. Ex. Richard Kosnar Collection.
