One could easily make the case that this specimen is exceptional simply for the beautiful medium teal-blue 5.5 cm string (over 2 inches!) of lustrous Cavansite balls and crystals, and that person would be right. The color is PERFECT - not too dark, not too light! What makes this a bit more remarkable, though, are the two sharp gemmy 4 mm Calcite rhombs embedded in the Cavansite, but quite visible. This unusual association first appeared last summer, and specimens of this kind and quality are far and few between! This is a particularly elegant example, well balanced on sparing matrix.
