A bright, richly burnished, 6 mm gold crystal cluster perched atop milky quartz from the much less well-known Atlantic Cable (Cable) Mine of Montana. This mine was located in 1866 and not mined for very long. Old, historic, seldom available material. Ex. Smithsonian Collection, with label.
