Deeply colored, intense erythrite crystals with a semi-metallic luster, in a 2.3 cm cluster atop matrix, make this a striking miniature. It belonged to collector and author, John Sinkankas of San Diego. It is illustrated in his book, Mineralogy for Amateurs (1964). It then was in the well-known collection of George Holloway for many years.
