This huge single crystal is not only tall, but also robust and thick. It is one of the larger single crystals I have seen for sale from here in MANY YEARS. It is complete all around except for a tragic large contact on the BACK of the termination. Now, it is there. Its admittedly a problem, and this is why the piece isn't a crazy price. BUT this contact/damage is NOT visible at all from the front display face. From the front and sides, you can see one small ding on one side edge, but not the rear problem. So, it LOOKS like a million bucks and really truly IS a significant specimen. The slight aesthetic defect on the back of the display view, keeps the price down as a bonus.
