Radial sprays of glassy hydromagnesite needles are nicely scattered on pastel-green magnesite (colored by nickel impurities) with an unusual knobby/bubbly/drusy form. The specimen is from the Cedar Hill Quarry of Pennsylvania [see, however, http://www.mindat.org/mesg-7-150141.html], a gravel quarry mining the State-line belt of serpentines and is near the Woods Chrome Mine. Ex. Lloyd Tate Collection.
