Primary malachite balls to just over 1 cm, and crystals, together make this a colorful specimen. Malachite from Morenci actually has not been found as often as you would think, and far less often than its cousin azurite. This is a beautiful example, featuring a crescent-shaped display face. From the well-known Tucson collection of 40-year collector, Harold Urish.
