These large, beautiful, frosted pink rhombs of manganoan calcite are from the venerable old deposit at Naica, Mexico. The frosting appears to be a thin coat of silica which adds to the quality of the specimen by giving it a sparkle. The lovely pink translucence, crystals up to 6 cm across, and the sheer perfection of the rhombs, makes this specimen a welcome addition to any collection. Additionally, it fluoresces. OLD MATERIAL, very rare in such good condition for crystals of this size
